Most umbrella frames are made in China and in our opinion, range from very bad to mediocre in quality. Don't be fooled by "Made in USA" -- The cover/canopy is made in USA; the frame is practically always imported.
The canopy (fabric) is 2/3 to 3/4 the cost of an umbrella, so lets start with the fabric. Sunbrella® fabric is water repellant, fade resistant, stain resistant, easy to clean and is the only fabric we recommend. Most of our customers get at least 7 years of service from Sunbrella® in Wind, Rain & Blazing Sun.
